Tips to students for a successful school year


  • Create a checklist - For staying organized; not forget anything

  • Set up your command Center - This is where you record your important school-related information, schedule, assignments, and events.

  • Organize your supplies and materials - Get done with this at least 2 weeks ago to avoid last minute stress.



  • Plan your outfits weekly - This will save you time and stress in the morning.

  • Make a study resolution; establish a homework routine - This will help you stay on top of your schoolwork and homework on a daily basis



  • Incorporate a little bit of daily exercise in your school day routine

  • Sync your digital calendars - This will help you avoid scheduling conflicts.

  • Plan for healthy meals and snacks - This will help you stay energized throughout the day.



  • Set up a morning routine - This will help you kick-start your day

  • Take care of yourself - Get enough sleep, eat healthy foods, socialize with friends, de-stress, engage in healthy competition to stay motivated 

  • Keep yourself informed - Be it about joining a favorite after-school extracurricular activity, or attending an interesting school event, or collecting information about challenges or contests; speaking to teachers and counselors is often the key.



  • Communicate and coordinate with your family or household - This will help ensure that everyone is on the same page.

  • When you need any help, just ask - Don't hesitate to ask for help; your parents, teachers and counselors are always there to help.

  • Review your goals and priorities - It's fine for your goals to change. Keep re-visiting them and planning ahead for success.
